The Tarzan Way raises ₹2 crore in seed funding to power AI-driven travel innovation

AI-powered travel tech platform The Tarzan Way has secured INR 2 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds will support product development, operations, marketing, and HR, alongside the launch of its “Exploration App.” With a 300 per cent YoY revenue rise and growing global traction, the startup aims to redefine experiential travel through hyper-personalised, tech-led journeys.

Travel tech startup The Tarzan Way has raised INR 2 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with additional participation from Your Trips Limited (UK), PhysicsWallah co-founder Prateek Maheshwari, and other angel investors. The capital will be deployed across product development (35 per cent ), operations (25 per cent ), marketing (20 per cent ), HR and admin (15 per cent ), and miscellaneous areas (5 per cent ).

Founded in 2020 by Shikhar Chadha and Shivank Tripathi, The Tarzan Way combines AI technology with a human-centric approach to offer hyper-personalised and authentic travel experiences. The platform allows users to create detailed, customised itineraries in just a few clicks, supported by a smart booking engine and round-the-clock concierge services.

The latest funding round will also support the launch of its upcoming “Exploration App,” further expanding its offering in the experiential travel space. The company currently operates globally and has clocked a 300 per cent year-on-year revenue growth and a 70 per cent month-on-month increase in user growth. It has processed over INR 13.5 crore in bookings to date and built a strong digital presence with more than 10 million content views.

India’s travel and tourism sector, valued at USD 199 billion in 2023, is projected to exceed USD 500 billion by 2028. With its tech-forward model and rising demand for bespoke travel, The Tarzan Way is positioning itself as a disruptor in a rapidly evolving market.
